Juniata College Hillel

​Our synagogue in Huntingdon also serves as the Hillel House for Jewish students at Juniata College. During their time at Juniata, Hillel members are welcomed as part of Congregation Agudath Achim.
​In 2015, Hillel students helped renovate the kitchen in our community hall, a space they now use for Friday evening gatherings and a special brunch during Parents’ Weekend
Huntingdon Food Bank
Every Monday evening, members of our congregation collect unsold bread and pastries from the Panera store on N. Atherton Street. They then deliver these donations to representatives of the Huntingdon Food Pantry on Tuesday, located at Jo Hays Lookout atop Pine Grove Mountain
Center for Community Action 
Our synagogue is a proud member of the Center for Community Action and holds a position on the board of its Emergency Food and Shelter Program. This board is responsible for allocating state and federal funds to families in need.
Huntingdon Churches 
We are apart of the religious community in Huntingdon working alongside: Most Holy Trinity Church, St. John's Episcopal Church, and Huntingdon Presbyterian Church. 

​Agudath Achim has provided joint programming with these church's for Sunday School classes, commemoration of the Holocaust, and adult education in our Shabbatons.
